Discover the history and heritage of Tamil Nadu beginning in the capital city of Chennai, formerly Madras and home of the East India Company. Travel to shore temples, white washed churches and the former French colony of Pondicherry. Replete with pretty boulevards, gendarmes and some of the best boulangiers of the East. Then on to the remote and little known islands of The Andaman & Nicobar Islands, way off the eastern coast of India. Explore the jungle hinterlands and virgin coastline offering some of the worlds best beaches & diving. Then end your journey in the historic city of Kolkata. A vibrant, cultured cosmopolitan city built over the years by the descendants of the citizens who come from all over the globe to create the showpiece capital of the British Raj.

Basic Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive Chennai. On arrival, transfer by road to Puducherry. Day 2: Morning sightseeing tour of the old French quarter of Puducherry. Day 3: Morning transfer by road to Chennai with an en-route visit to Mahabalipuram, listed temples and carvings that inspire the imagination, especially at sunset. Day 4: Spend the morning exploring Chennai. Day 5: Morning flight to Port Blair, followed by private boat ride to Havelock Island. Day 6+7: Enjoy the day engaging in variours activities offered or just relax by the pool enjoying the magnificent views of the virgin rainforest. Day 8: Settle into a barefoot rhythm. Day 9: Engage in various activies from scuba diving, snorkelling, night-time guided kayak tours. Day 10: Today time to leave the beautiful pristine Havelock Island and take a boat ride followed by flight to Kolkata. Day 11: Spend the day exploring this fascinating city. Day 12: Morning at leisure. Afternoon flight to Delhi.
